Hey everyone! Well you can leave comments on my blogs now, I added in the html to allow them in my custom layout. Anyway... I just did a mock assessment, im really worried.. I failed by one mark... But I'll obviously try my best best best bessst on the real test. I just really cant afford to fail this course. If I do, I think I might just do what I've always wanted to do. A graphic design course.

Safe on the Net

Hey everyone!
I've had such a wake up call this week, I have goals I constantly set and dreams I will soon conquer. When I have aged, I will look back knowing I lived my life the way I wanted, the way it was supposed to be. Because in the end, life seems to unfold the way it should.

This week.
Has been great my lifes getting back to normal and I have a fantastic new boyfriend called Gary who is just amazing! :]

This weeks task - the net

Ok so the net is such a big part of peoples lives do we ever consider our safety? I've learnt a lot after going onto club penguin website. A lot of us have profiles on social networks like bebo and myspace. But who is actually behind the photos on the profiles? I've noticed the new internet trend is using other peoples photos and pretending to be them, I've had so many fakes, people pretending to be me. You dont know what it feels like to know someone is pretending to be you. its a horrible feeling.

Other things to watch out on, on the internet.

- Dont give out any personal information you dont know who is on the internet.
- Never agree to meet up with people you have spoken to over the internet.
- Dont show photos of yourself to people you dont know
- The most common typed in word in google is "sex". So be aware for children can access explicit images and websites

The internet might be fun but their are many risks for children

Well guys, Its Halloween.
I dead love Halloween for the simple reason is you get to go around dressed up looking like a total idiot and not needing to feel paranoid of what people think because they are dressed exactly as stupid as you :)

ZOMBIES. What is exactly a 'zombie' well,

They are the re-animated corpses of dead people

They only attack living people and not their own kind

They are genrally not as strong as humans

Theres also things called internet Zombies. A virus!!

USE firefox is sooo much better!

Hey Blog! This week i've learnt 2 things. People can one day like you n then next completely hate you and secondly people will jump to any conclusion just because of what has been said. Don't always believe what you hear :]
I'm fed up of being judged for being someone I'm not.

I read on ducans blog in the news part. " The most stylish seen this week is Becca's blog. " I was like WOO! it put a right smile on my face! So thanks for that.

OK SO WHAT IVE BEEN LEARNING AT COLLEGE.

Spoof email - the most annoying thing EVER!

Examples of spoofed email that could affect the security of your site include:

email claiming to be from a system administrator requesting users to change their passwords to a specified string and threatening to suspend their account if they do not do this

email claiming to be from a person in authority requesting users to send them a copy of a password file or other sensitive information

Heya!
Well this weeks been pretty stressful to be honest.
But moving on. Todays been alright so far.
Been learning about Passwords (just common sense really) for example Change your password frequently, Use a combination of letters, numbers and symbols to make it harder to 'guess' if you will. etc.
I've also been learning about proxy servers, I've done this before, but its good to refresh my memory. A proxy server uets users to get web pages from web servers without having to communicate with them
All the work we have covered so far has been pretty simple, so hope it stays that way lol!!!

Anyway.
